Move your Mealime recipes before October 21

Mealime shuts down on October 21, 2026. There is no export button, and saved recipes, meal plans and grocery lists go with the app. Krydda can bring over the favorites you saved in Mealime, so you do not have to copy them by hand.

What is happening to Mealime

Mealime shuts down on October 21, 2026. Its owner, Albertsons, is moving meal planning into its own grocery apps.
Mealime has no export. Everything saved in the app is deleted when it closes.
Until then Mealime works as usual, so now is the time to take your recipes with you.

How to move your recipes to Krydda

Install Krydda on iPhone or Android. It is free, and you do not need an account to import.
Go to Settings, choose Import from another app, then Mealime.
Tap Open Mealime and sign in with your Mealime account. Open your favorites.
Tap Import recipes. Krydda finds the recipes on the page and shows how many there are.
Tap Import. Recipes already in Krydda are skipped, so you can run the import again without duplicates.

Without signing in: paste names or links

You can also paste recipe names or links, one per line, and tap Find recipes. Links shared from the Mealime app work too.

Recipes you wrote yourself in Mealime

Krydda brings recipes over from Mealime's public recipe pages. A recipe you added yourself is not there. Open it in Mealime, take a screenshot and use Import with AI in Krydda. A new account comes with 25 free AI requests.

Can I export my recipes from Mealime?

No. Mealime has no export, so recipes have to be moved before the app closes on October 21, 2026.
